Seller Rules

Platform Fees

ArtSupply charges a platform fee on every completed sale. The fee is deducted before payout.

Shipping Requirements

  • All physical orders must ship within 3 business days of confirmed payment.
  • A valid tracking number is mandatory for every physical shipment.
  • Signature confirmation is required for orders over a set value threshold.
  • If an order is not shipped within 3 business days, ArtSupply will issue a full refund to the buyer. All associated fees (Stripe, platform, shipping) are non-recoverable and are the seller's responsibility.

Payout Hold Periods

To protect buyers, payouts are held after delivery confirmation:

Hold periods begin from the carrier-confirmed delivery date. Digital goods hold begins when access is granted.

Refunds & Chargebacks

  • Refunds for unshipped orders are the seller's full responsibility. The refunded amount equals the total charged amount. The seller is responsible for non-recoverable Stripe fees, platform fees, and shipping costs.
  • These fees are deducted from the seller's Stripe Connect balance. If the balance is insufficient, the amount owed is recovered from future payouts. Outstanding balances and repeated delinquency can lead to penalties or a permanent ban — reach out to support in time if you need help resolving a balance.
  • For shipped orders, buyers may initiate a return within 14 days of carrier-confirmed delivery.
  • Seller-at-fault returns cover wrong, damaged, defective or not-as-described items, plus any dispute resolved against you. The buyer receives a full refund and pays nothing toward return shipping. You are charged the item price, the original shipping, the return shipping and the non-recoverable Stripe fee. Your first at-fault return waives the platform fee as a one-time courtesy. Repeat at-fault returns are also charged the platform fee.
  • Change-of-mind returns refund the buyer the item price only. ArtSupply keeps the platform fee and the original shipping. The buyer pays return shipping, which is deducted from their refund.
  • Return shipping: the buyer either ships the item back themselves with a valid tracking number, or buys an ArtSupply return label. On change-of-mind returns the buyer carries this cost. On at-fault returns the seller carries it.
  • Inspection window: once a returned item is delivered to you, you have 48 hours to report a problem such as an empty or damaged package. If you do not report a problem within 48 hours, the buyer is refunded automatically.
  • Repeated refunds, at-fault returns or chargebacks lead to escalating consequences: first a formal warning, then a temporary suspension, then review for a permanent ban. Payouts may be paused while a balance is outstanding or an account is under review.
  • If you reject a return, the buyer may file a formal dispute within 7 days. ArtSupply will review and rule as final arbiter. Consequences (warning, suspension, ban) may be applied to either party based on the outcome.
  • Digital products are non-refundable once downloaded or accessed, except in cases of demonstrably corrupted files (treated as seller-at-fault).
  • On a chargeback, the disputed amount is recovered from your Stripe Connect balance / future payouts. Your first chargeback fee is waived as a one-time courtesy; subsequent chargeback fees are charged to you.
  • Carrier-verified tracking data is the primary source of truth for all delivery disputes.

Seller Responsibilities

  • You are the seller of record. ArtSupply is a marketplace facilitator - not a reseller.
  • You are responsible for the accuracy of your listings, including pricing, product descriptions, and digital file quality.
  • ArtSupply's platform liability is capped to fees collected for your orders.
